My Pledge to the People of Cheadle

It would be an honour and a privilege for me to be elected your Labour MP for Cheadle. I have a long track record of serving and standing up for communities- almost a decade's experience as a local councillor and a twenty-year career working with charities and government to improve people's lives on issues ranging from counter extremism to services for victims of crime.

 

After fourteen years of this Conservative government, we desperately need to see change. The people I speak to feel no better now than they did when the Conservatives and their Lib Dem partners came to power in 2010. 

 

Labour has a plan to restore our crumbling public services, to tackle the housing crisis by bringing the biggest boost to affordable housing in a generation and to grow our economy.  

 

It's time for change and, together, we can build a brighter future for Cheadle and our country as a whole.
